The college offers Two year higher secondary course and Three
year Degree course in Arts. The medium of instruction is
Assamese. However , English is also preferred as complimentary
to assamese.
A. HIGHER SECONDARY COURSE

and MIL / Alternative English are compulsory subject. In
addition, a student of arts stream has to study three more
subjects. Listed in section (3). A fourth subject for
desirous student may be offered as additional subject.

Economics, History, Philosophy, Mathematics, Persian ,
Education, Anthropology and Geography. |

B. DEGREE COURSE

college provides major courses in Assamese, History,
English, Political Science, Economics, Philosophy, Persion,
A student having major courses in any one of the
above subject other then a language subject must offer two
compulsory subject (English, MIL,/ Alternative English)
along with one Elective Subject . In TDC 2ndyear
Environmental Science is a compulsory subject.
For general course , a student may offer any two of the
subjects listed in section (4) in addition to the two
compulsory subjects.
